CHRISTMAS GREETINGS FROM MIKE AND CAMILLE

This has been a great year and as usual one that involved a little traveling. The best thing about our lives is being involved with our children and grandchildren. We spent some quality time with all our kids this year. We treasure the times we get to spend with grandchildren, especially since none of them live close to us. We traveled to Michigan in March to see Sean and Jennifer and their three wonderful girls: Megan (age 10), Emma (almost 8) and Lacey (age 1). Then again in October we visited Sean and Jennifer only this time Greg and Sachiko and their precious one year old Allen were visiting from Japan. Natalie was able to join us and it was a nice little family reunion. It would have been much better if JP and Natalie could have been there with us. His job took him overseas for business and his wife Natalie is now a nurse and couldn't get more time off. Mike and I still enjoy being "snowbirds" splitting our time between the cabin in Utah and the sunshine in Arizona.

In October we enjoyed being with all the grand children. Here Emma, Lacey, Allen and Megan got to be with Aunt Natalie.

SUMMER IN HAWAII WITH JP AND NATALIE

"The beach is free!" was our mantra for a week in Hawaii with JP and Natalie. It was wonderful doing nothing but laying on the beach and reading a good book. We spent one day at Hanama Bay doing a little snorkeling.

NATALIE'S NEW CONDO ON THE BEACH

Natalie bought a little weekend condo on the Oregon coast this year and it needed lots of work to take it froma 1970's retro into the 21st century. We spent 3 weeks working long, hard, physical days gutting it all out and making it like new. It was a very satisfying job when it was all done. Natalie has become very adept at handling a nail gun and hanging kitchen cabinets.

SOME GREAT NEWS TO SHARE ....

JP has run several big marathons in California this year. The big news now is that he and Natalie will be adding a new baby (their first) to their family in June 2010. We couldn't be happier for them. Now instead of having just a "grand puppy" we will have another grand baby. That will make 5 for us! Natalie graduated from nursing school last December and is now an official RN.
